Our mission is to support Democratic candidates and values, promote civic engagement, and connect like-minded individuals to build a stronger community.

 

We believe those who want to harm our democracy are no match for those of us who believe in it. Heather Cox Richardson, writer and historian, said “Americans are not actually as divided as politicians want us to be,” with the vast majority agreeing on issues like basic gun safety, reproductive rights, taxes on the wealthy, and clean air/water.

 

Most of the people active in the Adams County Democratic Party are also involved in our churches, youth sports with our kids, civic groups, and organizations like Indivisible, the Human Rights Commission, the Banned Book Club, Voices for Choice and many others. Adams County Democrats work to promote opportunities for like-minded individuals to connect, share their hobbies and interests, and focus on the positive nature of our community. It’s not just the right thing to do; it’s our mission.
