Volunteer
Several opportunities to assist in Get out the Vote efforts to secure Democrat wins in November:
1.) Drivers: We need volunteers to give prospective voters rides to the Adams County Clerk’s Office to register; correct any issues and cast their ballots in-person. Will also need volunteers willing to pick up vote by mail ballots from those who are unable to physically return their ballots to the Clerk’s office. 2.) In-Person Canvassers: Contacting likely Democrat voters, passing out campaign literature and encouraging them to Vote BLUE in the General Election. Can be done independently w/a friend (contact us for packets/maps) or we now have three events scheduled:

3.) Phone Banking: After early voting begins, we’ll need volunteers to work the phones contacting Democratic voters reminding them to vote, logging and passing along questions/issues (i.e. need a ride), etc. After training, done at your convenience! 4.) Hospitality Committee: Join us in making our Annual Soup & Sandwich Supper Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. a success by volunteering to help. Sign up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C054BA8AF28A6F9C25-65197767-2026
5.) Support the Communications/Marketing Committee: Committee members help send and respond to text messages and emails, maintain our social media sites, and promote upcoming events. We always need more help, including columnists and photographers!

Adams County Democrats are connecting with each other and with like-minded individuals to support Democratic values, promote civic engagement and build a stronger community. And we need you!
Whether you have a little time or a lot, there’s a way for you to help. Just tell us how much time you have and when you can help out. Some people like to knock on doors or greet people at community outreach at events. Other people enjoy addressing postcards at home or preparing food behind the scenes.
In the past year, volunteers have cooked, served, registered, decorated, given away lollipops, traveled, knocked on doors, designed, fixed IT problems, notarized, written articles, passed out fans, given speeches, taken pictures, networked, walked in a parade, organized, called, protested, typed, set up tents, mixed up bubble solution, written thank you notes, loaded, unloaded… you name it!
Our Volunteer Coordinator will get you connected to a job that matches your level of interest and availability.
